EXPERTISE
EXPERTISE, the European initiative to exchange good practices, has arrived to its midway
The organizations of EXPERTISE have been working in their good practices and met in Bulgaria to learn about design thinking and experiment how to implement this methodology.
From the 6th to the 9th of June 2018 the third transnational meeting (M3) of EXPERTISE has taken place. Two representatives of each partner country and organization have met in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) to participate on the third transnational meeting of this Erasmus+ initiative and also get to know the best practices of ASPECT on youth training and inclusive skills for employment. On this concrete activity, attendees have discussed about new methods to face the youth challenges of Europe using as a tool and good practice the design thinking method. The design thinking approach is a methodology for practical and creative resolution of problems. It is an interactive process divided in 5 phases focused in the innovation that the people can do in order to get new solutions. To practice this tool, partners have applied during that meeting this method to deal with issues such as the new European law about data protection. The meeting was also used to check the project stages completed at that moment and remind all the bureaucracy needs to submit the interim report of EXPERTISE. Beside this, the meeting allowed partners to prepare its future activities in the six participating countries. The next meeting (M4) will take place in Portugal, at Proandi, from 28th to 31st of October this year.
“EXPERTISE: Exchange of practices to educate, recognize and train inclusive skills for employment” is a 24-month strategic partnership at international level that started on the 01/09/2017 and will finish on the 31/08/2019 thanks to the support of the Key Action 2 of the European Commission and its Erasmus+ programme. Coordinated by the Paula Montal school of Logroño (Spain) in cooperation with ASPECT (Bulgaria), ACP (Greece), VsIEduplius (Lithuania), WSBiNoZ (Poland) and PROANDI (Portugal). This initiative aims to overcome the needs that trainers and educators of young people with fewer opportunities currently face to provide them those interpersonal skills and intrapersonal competences required to guarantee their social inclusion and facilitate their jump from the training and education field to the labour market.
